Wheel loader Operation training

Wheel Loader Operation Training (160 hrs)

Across 160 hours at Marashatech, you’ll first build a foundation in safety and machine know-how. You’ll start each day with a full pre-start inspection—walking around the loader to check hydraulic lines, tyre pressure and attachment locks—while mastering personal protective equipment and emergency-stop drills. Under the guidance of trainers who’ve managed loading operations on Kampala construction sites and Tororo quarries, you’ll learn to spot hazards, read ground conditions and set up the machine for a smooth start.

Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll step into the cab to practice bucket control, steering and precision loading. Early exercises have you scooping loose material on flat ground, learning to feather the bucket for even fills, and mastering smooth lift-and-dump motions. As your confidence grows, you’ll tackle real-world simulations—loading trucks on uneven surfaces, stockpiling aggregate for road projects in Jinja, and working tight around site offices—so every manoeuvre mirrors what you’ll face in the field.

In the final phase, you’ll join mock project crews to handle continuous loading cycles under time constraints, coordinating with “truck” and “spotter” teams to build efficiency. Each session ends with hands-on maintenance: greasing pivot points, checking fluid levels and tightening loose fittings. By course completion, you’ll earn your Marashatech Certificate of Competence and be fully prepared to operate wheel loaders on Uganda’s next infrastructure and industrial ventures.
