Excavator Operator Training

Step into the operator’s seat and transform raw ambition into real skill with our 240-hour Excavator Operation course. From day one, you’ll step onto our training yard in Kampala and learn to read the land—tracing out foundations, marking trench lines and mapping drainage on real soil. Under the guidance of veteran trainers who’ve built highways and dams across Uganda, you’ll master basic controls on flat ground before moving on to sloped cuts and utility-style trenches that mirror projects in Jinja and Mbarara.

Each week builds your confidence and competence:

Week 1–2: Safety first—daily pre-start checks, PPE drills and simple bucket maneuvers on open ground.

Week 3–4: Precision digging—foundation footings, shallow trenches and load-and-dump routines.

Week 5–6: Advanced grading—steep slopes, back-fill operations and site-cleanup techniques.

Week 7–8: Real-site simulations—complex trench networks, tight-space manoeuvres and project-style assignments.

By the end of your training, you’ll handle heavy loads and fine-tuned digs as naturally as flipping a switch. You’ll know how to inspect hydraulic systems, perform basic maintenance and anticipate site challenges before they arise. Graduate with a Marashatech Certificate of Competence and step directly into roles on road expansions, building sites and energy projects—ready to power Uganda’s next generation of infrastructure.
